You can easily manage banner advertisements on your DotNetNuke site, and use them to generate revenue.  Through the Vendors tab, administrators can easily: add vendors and their profile information; upload banners and determine their placement; define number of impressions, cost per impression, or length of ad campaign; track ad views and click-thrus; and define affiliate referrals.

Banner advertising is managed through the Admin > Vendors tab.  You can select the number of banners to display as well as the banner type.

Module Features:

• Banners can be enabled in the header of the portal through the Admin > Site Settings tab.  This only works if you are using a skin which comes with a pre-defined banner area.  Otherwise you must add the Banners module in order to display banners.
• Reporting is provided for banner views and clicks
• Banner types include standard Banner, MicroButton, Button, Block, Skyscraper, Text and Script options

Important!

Banner ads are a little more complicated to use than other modules, because you must use two modules: Vendors, and then Banners.

Only after you have created at least one vendor, and uploaded at least one banner for the vendor, will it be possible to add a banner ad to your site!
